The Transportation Uniform Mitigation Fee (TUMF) is a region-wide impact fee levied by CVAG on any development that will add to the number of vehicle trips within the Coachella Valley. It supports capital improvements to regional roadways to mitigate increasing levels of traffic.

The Local Development Impact Fee is a region-wide impact fee levied by CVCC on new development that will result in the disturbance of existing wildlife habitat through the Coachella Valley. It supports the acquisition of conservation land within the Coachella Valley Multiple Species Habitat Conservation Plan (CVMSCHP).
