Purpose: Homeless Activity Reporter (HAR) can be used by the general public to report the locations of homeless individuals and encampments in the community. Citizens can get access to the Homeless Activity Reporter (HAR):

-from the City’s website: https://www.wpb.org/government/housing-community-development
-using a custom URL that directs to the HAR form: www.wpb.org/har

-Non-profit organizations
-Vickers house, Mayors Office when receiving phone calls or emails

Intended Use: The Homeless Activity Reporter (HAR) can be used by the general public to report the locations of homeless individuals and encampments in the community.

GIS configured a webhook that triggers every time a report is submitted, identifying the report ID that helps locate the report in the map, the citizens report details and, if the individual identifies themselves as suffering from homelessness shows their contact information, if provided. The Community Resource Manager and the Homeless Services Coordinator receives an email notification with the report details and hyperlinks to the corresponding GIS applications:

-The Homeless Activity Reporter_HAR manager application - is used by Lisa Kemp (Community Resources Manager) and Alexandria Severino (Homeless Services Coordinator) to manage reports and assigned it within the City’s Homeless Outreach Team.
-The Homeless Activity Reporter_report progress application - is a used by the Outreach Team to report progress on homeless activity reports.
-Homeless Activity Reporter Dashboard – used by The Homeless Outreach Team and management to quickly load up a map view and reports widgets like total number of reports received by date, report status, how many referrals for services where done, how many refused services, reports details, tools to filter/query data, etc.

How was the data derived: Public Survey123 form ‘Homeless Activity Reporter’ is available for the public through the City website and accessible through the short url created by the HCD Department: https://wpb.org/har

How was the data modified: Once public reports are submitted, the City's Community Resources Manager, the Homeless Services Coordinator and the Homeless Outreach Team use their corresponding GIS applications, as they review, assign and work on each report until its resolution.

Update Frequency: As citizens, business owners submits new reports using the public form Homeless Activity Reporter, the City 's Homeless Outreach review, assign and work on each report using their corresponding GIS applications.
