St. John the Baptist Parish is creating a Resilient Housing Plan. The goals of the plan are as follows:

1. Identify areas where housing is most likely to be damaged by wind, rain, flooding, and hurricanes.

2. Identify where building additional housing should be avoided because of risk of wind and flooding.

3. Strengthen our disaster recovery plan when it comes to housing, such as through storm shelter and temporary housing policy.

4. Propose new construction and land use policies that might help us avoid wind and flooding damage to housing in the future.

Your participation in this survey will help the Parish develop its plan to better protect housing and neighborhoods from damage by wind, rain, flooding, and hurricanes. Thank you.
