This is a social\nscientific study based on current sense of place and landscape values mapping\nliterature. This study is also partly based on complementary research being\nconducted by Boise State University with permission. Please note that such\nresearch changes overtime and this instrument and questions are a snapshot in\ntime. This instrument was also co-created between the Social Science Team and\nself-selected Region 3 staff to meet a specific need and purposes at a distinct\nspatial-temporal context. The data also will be collected through snowball sampling\nmethod (SSM) and respondent-driven sampling (RDS). SSM is a form of convenient\nnon-probability sampling, that is not inherently generalizable or\nrepresentative of the wider population. RDS is a form of SSM that focuses on\nensuring diversity within an SSM-based sample. These caveats should be\nconsidered if using this study or instrument or its results.
