We would love to put you – more specifically your newly planted trees – on the map! Many have asked how they can ensure their plantings count as part of Wisconsin’s pledge towards the Trillion Trees Initiative. The pledge is aimed at growing more healthy forests to combat climate change. By participating in a short survey and marking them on the map, your trees will be counted!

The goal is to plant 100 million new trees into state soil by 2030. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is administering the survey, which takes only minutes to complete. You’ll be asked a few questions like the number of trees you planted and on what date. There are also some optional questions like the tree type and species you planted. You will also need to zoom in on the provided map and mark where trees were planted. Once you’re finished, submit your survey, and then have a look at the Wisconsin Tree Planting Map to see how you have helped move Wisconsin closer to its pledged goal.
